Since her PhD at Orsay, France, in 2004, Soazig Guyomarc’h has been studying the mechanisms of plant development, especially organogenesis, using functional genetics and computer-based modelling approaches. Since 2009 she has been a lecturer at the University of Montpellier and a member of the DIADE research unit at IRD, where she has investigated the properties of the gene regulatory network that controls lateral root formation and patterning.
