Christophe Robaglia is Professor at the Aix Marseille University, ex Research Director INRAE and GMO European Food Security Authority Expert. He created and lead the team Luminy Plant Genetics and Biophysics during about 20 years, where he is still doing his research. The team belongs to the Biosciences and Biotechnology Institute of Aix Marseille (joint research unit CNRS-CEA-University). His research interest is the role of the plant TOR pathway in growth and adaptation to biotic and abiotic stresses and in mechanisms of innate immunity to plant viruses. More recently he initiated a new research area, which was supported by the ANR, concerning the investigation of the mechanisms leading to photosymbiosis establishment through experimental evolution.
